Description:

As the outstanding alternative of EDTA(ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid), iminodisuccinic acid Na4 Salts is a new generation of biodegradable water treatment chemical, with excellent chelating & complexing properties.

This product can form quintuple-bonded complexes with metal ions. In this case, complexing occurs via the nitrogen and all four carboxyl groups. As a result of the octahedral structure of the complete complex, a water molecule is required for the sixth coordination point, which make it significantly than other complex agents.

Application:

1. It can be used in oxidative bleaching of cotton with H2O2 in a variety of processes. It complexes iron and copper ions which would otherwise cause catalytic decomposition of the bleaching agent.

2. This product can also be used to clean hard surfaces. Very good results have been achieved with this product in combination with surfactants. Examples include the cleaning of membranes, floors and glass and use in car shampoos.

3. Due to its characteristics of complexing and completely biodegradation, Tetrasodium iminodisuccinate can be used as a new water softening ingredient in the popular household detergent formulations.

4. When added in variety of liquid fertilizers, it can complex the mirocro element such as Mn, Cu, Fe, B, etc, to facilitate the crops' adsorption for these metal ions.
